Transmission venting

I cannot find where my MH44 and Farmall H transmissions vent. Is this correct, or common? It seems to me you would want a vent to prevent excessive pressure on seals.

I believe the MH44 vent is inside the the steering wheel support post. Small stub tube screwed into case.

The H does vent through the shift lever. There is a groove in the funnel shaped shield. During the upgrading of the 560's etc, that shield was changed to omit the groove and add a bevel to the top for an o-ring to seal against shift lever. Then a small hole was drilled into the cast so shield would not close hole but it would be shielded from moisture coming in around lever.
