i would like to put power steering on wd any ideas have read wd45 stuff will work but parts expensive thanks for any info

Any PS wil be expencive. A 'Charlynn' style is the
easiest to install. And the 'cleanest'.But you are
looking at around $1000.See if you can find
'used'.If you are 'handy',you can adapt something
that would work.

Factory power steering was first available on the 1956 model. I sold one of those units for $400 some years ago, taken off my WD that I made into a reversed loader. It wasn"t necessary on that tractor anymore, and it interfered with the independent front pump that I installed.

Factory PS includes a double sheave crankshaft pulley, bracket around the water pump, oil reservoir that mounts on the hood, and the steering unit, hoses and belt.

There are other options you can come up with. You could go hydrostatic with combine units, and the combine steering axle.
