I need to start figuring out what I am going to do with the Ford 860. Anybody price any tires in that size lately. I really do not want to buy new but used is impossible locally. I do not want dirt cheap due to quality but not looking for top radials either.

It's been a couple of years, and I don't remember the price. I was looking for economy for a little used mowing/trimming tractor. I bought a pair of "American Farmer" 14.9x28 bias tires. I also tried a pair of them 18.4x38. I have already replaced the 18.4x38's. I've had much better luck with the little Akuret(China/India?) pair I've got on another tractor.

That's so disappointing because I wanted to buy American made. But it cost me enough trying to be frugal, that I may never buy another pair of "cheap" tires.

I am in the same boat I'm going to need a 16.9 x30, replaced one this summer used was $300, tire tube and labor.

I will say 14.9 is quite a bit taller than a 13.6 as im sure you already know.the bkt's I bought new are holding up good so far has decent traction and were fairly "inexpensive".

Just go back into parts, keep clicking around, and eventually you should find a picture of several different tire styles. I doubt long distance buying would work. But I imagine you could get an idea of costs.

Sorry Bob I understand now, I thought you were recommending a website and forgot to post the address, I misunderstood your post. I didn't realize you meant this website.

call link_disallowed days ask for larry we sell tires and tubes at huge discounts due to low overhead and being at it for 62 years

I used to buy used tires in Grand Gorge NY Beckers Tire I think. Don't know where you are.

If you need new you might try Miller or Tucker tire.
For used ones I would watch CraigsList. I sold this matched
[b:ba679a5739]pair[/b:ba679a5739] of 13.6 x 28 Firestones last month for $150.
They were in decent shape, but I didn't need them so I made
someone a good deal on them. He was going to cut them for
pulling. They're out of my way so we're both happy.
