And just like that, Fox News and Fox Business is back on Dish Network. Wonder how many customers they lost in the process?

I was not quick to bolt, as I had figured out a way to run 3 TVs on 1 receiver and a Joey, and was reluctant to lose that. Glad I was patient.

Glad they settled their dispute. Missed Fox news, the only place where I got fair and balanced reporting! More people watch Fox news than all other new channels combined. We all can't be wrong!

Many detailed studies by independent analysts have shown over and over again that Fox News is the most balanced news coverage. It may lean to the right but the others have capsized to the left. The other channels just report what they agree with and if you watch them you will be blind to much of what is going on in the world. I don't like certain personalities on Fox but at least you get all of the information and can judge for yourself.

Dish probably gave Fox the extra money they were asking for out of the penalty money they collected from the 90,000 idiots.

These little "disputes" never last long when a popular network is involved. It does not pay to knee-jerk.

The old "lettered networks" just carry the water for external_link. Fox may not be 100% right, but at least they make you think and then you can research an issue.

Do you think we would have ever heard of the IRS scandal (and the dozens of others) if it had been in the hands of NBC and CBS??? Nope, they bury the news. They quit being a news organization years ago. Joseph Goebbels would be proud of them.

We quit the satelitte outfits when they were not going to show the World Series in 2013. Went to our phone company provider.

Our local REA electric COOP is putting in fiber optic and is going to start offering TV, phone and internet. I am going to sign up and pay the initial fee, even though I dont live on the farm anymore. But we are planning on moving back and it is much cheaper to join in the first go around.

We can only get 5 or 6 channels over the antenna on free TV.

I believe I said this once before, but I for one am glad that the feller who owns Dish isn't willing to be a pushover. The monthly fee for all of the cable/satellite services go up every year and if it wasn't for hardnosed guys like Dish's owner, they'd be a lot higher than they are now.

I will agree it is always easier to listen to news that one pretty much agrees with, but Fox does bring on a lot of left leaners to try to give some what of a balance. Last night, Guerelado Rivera (spelling) sure tried to give his side of all the good points Al Sharpton has. Beckel I can take, he does make occasional sense, but but most on the left will argue tooth and nail, that if you throw a ball up it will not come down.

We switched from cable to Dish a few years back. Now, most everything my family watches is programs from Hulu, Netflix, and others. Rarely, do we watch live programming anymore. I quit the news years ago and I get my weather and other updates online. We are ready to end our TV service...not worth it anymore. I can put up the antennae and get the locals.

Instead, it is easier to stand back and cry foul! If it wasn't for Ed Henry at the White House external_link would have completely sold out the country. You sure don't see many white house reports from the Big 3 on the evening news. I bet you haven't even seen the latest....a video of John Kerry embarrassing the people of the USA in France...
