Let's go someplace warm (Pictures)

For most of us in the midwest all it takes is about three tanks of gas in the family sedan to put us in the land of palm trees, beautiful beaches, green grass and the sound of the ocean surf. Maybe even take in a boat show. Do a little fishing. Play a round of golf, Reflect on life and being in love or counting our Blessings. Just thought some might enjoy the pictures.

It was below zero here for the last three nights but
its not supposed to get but in the teens tonight. We don't have a nice vacation planned this year but
last year in March, this was a view from our villa in St. Kitts. Three couples sharing a 3 bedroom place like this makes it fairly affordable.

About to do that ourselves...

Headed out next Sunday to the western Caribbean for a week stopping in Costa Maya, Belize and Cozumel.

The farmer i worked for when i got out of school always needed me so i missed chances to go with all of my family still intact then to see fla, disneyworld and the ocean. Now that sis has past on and we are all in poorer health never will see the ocean or those places in this life. Shape i am in i could not walk more than 5 minutes and dont want to just see them from a scooter or in the shape I'm in. Guys go when you can to these places when you are young and healthy.Unless you run over them , a girl in a thong bikini isnt going to give you a second glance , no matter how much you trick out your hoverround!! lol

It was 82 here yesterday,,,,,,,

John T coming to you LIVE from Row 74, Lot 27 at the Florida Flywheelers in Ft. Meade Florida. Stop in and say Howdyyyyyyyyy

John,

We will be there for the big show in February and would love to have the honor of shaking hands with you and looking forward to meeting you in person. I have enjoyed reading your posts and have learned a great deal from them. Tom

Tim,

Those cruise ships run everywhere from 50 to 150,000 tons. Some of the newer ships are so large that they cannot pass through the Panama Canal. Many travel the Eastern or the Western Caribean in the winter months and the Mediterranean Sea in the summer. There like a floating city and the common person can live like royalty for a week or two when you travel on one. They take care of everything you can imagine and do everything for you except your breathing. That being said if you should stop breathing they do have a cooler on board for you and will ship you back home when they get back to the home port. I certainly hear you when you mention failing health and your words of wisdom on enjoying yourself when a person is able. When we get to a certain age our emphases changes from finances and monetary concerns to our health. Without good health money really is not all that important.

That's real nice pictures. On the second cruise ship picture, with 2 white ones. I looked at all the rows of windows above deck and then all the port holes below deck. I then counted what I think was 12 LIFEBOATS!

You go and have a great time. I'll stay here. Been to Jamaica and the Florida Keys. That was enough for me.

I have a friend who is a retired pilot. Now that he is not flying, he spends all his time being flown around with his wife, to all the places he has been before and has told her about. Your posts really remind me of him.

That is how I would want to retire, if I wasn't a farmer. I still wouldn't trade farming for anything, but those pictures sure are nice.

I think those ducks look familiar. I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me they were the pair from my pond, just taking the winter off and relaxing at the pool.

If you do go to the Florida Flywheelers show, be sure to stop at Stew Paquette's museum and check the place out for me. I wish I could get down there, but the animals up here can't live without me, literally.
