I purchased a 7 ft step ladder today form Menards. They had them on sale for $40 after rebate. Just couldn't pass it up, rated at 250#. Very stable compared to my 6ft aluminum ones. Then I got the idea of attaching a tool box to the top step. Already had tool box. It seems like when I'm working on a step ladder I need someplace to store hammer, tape, screws, drill, impact. So it seemed logical to attach a tool box.

I was impressed with ladder I went back and bought another one. I figue I could put a walk board between ladders if I needed to work up high.

I like the fact that it literally prevents the use of the top flat area ((NOT-A-STEP)for standing or placing non-restrained tools. Safer!! Jim

I'm gonna see if they have them around here, I have an aluminum 7ft. that needs tossed before I break my neck on it...

That's what the boys at Menards pointed out. Keller just has one rivet on each side, costs more and has two angle braces on the two bottom steps. I'll take the 4 rivets and just one angle braces on bottom step. Can easily add another brace on second step if needed.

Menard's used to sell a very handy tool tray that slipped over the top step of their step ladders. I've had one for at least 15 years now. It's bright yellow with black removable dividers. It works well and is sturdy. I don't know if they still sell them.

I bought a little giant a few years back. Expensive sure, but worth it ! Really feels stable and being able to configure it differently can help in odd places.

I have a five foot fiberglass that I bought to get at the top of the hoist cylinder on my dump truck. I lowered the body on it once and broke one of the larger side beams right at the top, but it still works just fine.

I looked at yours and others, a name and location. So I'm not taking credit, just following other's lead.

That's a 4010 kawasaki mule. I couldn't buy an cab, so I made one. It's nothing real fancy, but it nice to keep the wind and snow off me. By removing a few screws I can easily remove the doors and windows for summer use. Plan to leave the top on year around.

I bought new it at the end of 2012.The 2013 were out then. $7500 + $500 dealer prep + another $500 sales tax, + $100 title transfer.

It's both a toy and a tool. My kids, grand kids, and boss get more use of it than I. A little pricey, but worth it especially when I have a gravel pit with many trails, shooting range, fishing and the boss is planting flower beds there.

I'm glad I have it.
