Deisel guru's?

Trying to install a secondary air intake filter on a turbo
Cummins 4T-390 engine, Case 570 MXT. The part number is
correct but the filter is not even close to fitting in the
canister.Case #is 8768299. Several sources list the same
number. Any Deisel specialists out there that has run into this
problem? Thanks

Sounds like someone changed the canister. IF and only if you have a good parts person, they might be able to match the old one. We have a great guy in Salida CO.

That seems to be more common these days.

New Holland used several different filter housings on the same machine sometimes even with one serial number set . So its possible youll have to do a little experimenting to find the right filter
