What they want cattle to be here

If the environmental vegan food Nazi's had their way, these would be the only cattle we'd have in the U.S. LOL

"The attack of Nazi cattle! It might sound like the plot of a bad B-movie, but it was actually a real problem for a farmer in the U.K. Derek Gow was hoping the addition of Heck cattle would assimilate nicely with the rest of his farm. Unfortunately, the Heck breed was developed by Nazi scientists to resemble the ancient Auroch. It was believed the cattle would roam freely across Europe like their ancestors for "Nazi supermen" to hunt. Gow culled his herd of 20 down to six because he says "they had every intention of wiping you from the face of this Earth."

I watched the documetary about these cattle. Kinda interesting. Those Nazi scientist would have a field day now with the knowledge we have concerning DNA and such.

i've got a couple of black angus x herefords that won't let me close to their calves for at least a couple of weeks, the rest of the herd are quite happy to let me tag their calves, we calve on pasture in may and june... but none of mine are as aggressive as the "nazi cattle"...

Boys Here in Texas we have had train loads of Experience handling wild cattle !
1st.. Get these ol Darlins corralled, in a squeeze-chute! De-horn these old girls as close to the skull as possible! they will get more gentile for their heads will be so sore they will not want to bump it it any way.
2nd.. If the De-horning doesn't work.....
a 30-06 bullet, between the eyes will make the Beast docile for ever!
It is not difficult at all, Those horns should have been taken care of from the start! At about 500 lb wts.!

I helped a guy here work some cows a few years ago. He had one big-ol mother cow who looked alot like those in the picture. And she would just as soon run you over as look at you! I asked him why he kept her?? Said she'd raised 6 calves in 4 years-two sets of healthy twins and two singles. I told him those two extra calves wouldn't go very far to helping pay the bills from a week in the hospital after he got stomped.

I'd've put a bullet in her.

I like the looks of the Scottish Highland cattle. They may look fierce, but the ones bred around here are pretty docile. Not really a commercially viable breed any more, but very well suited for staying out in harsh winters where barn costs can get pretty expensive. People here fence off areas of woodland, and they do very well as long as they can get into the trees. Still have to haul hay for them though.

Yep, then they'd try to make Dino-Cattle. Cattle the size of a Brontosaurus; 'course think of how many Steaks you could get from something that big. LOL

:>)

Must not be too bad he can stay in the pasture with them and the person taking the photo.I've seen some
Jersey and Gurnsey bulls that would flat out try to kill you.
Also Tamworth hogs can get mean as they come.
