We almost share an anniversary date - on Jan 2 my wife and I celebrated 16 years. We often laugh about the weather that weekend even though we weren't enjoying it then. A nasty Kansas ice storm had left the roads as slippery and smooth as an ice rink after a Zamboni had done its thing. Single digit temperature, too. The evening before the wedding my groomsmen and I were busy winching one of their cars out of the ditch with my 1961 Scout and just about froze.
