Just got back from Plainfield, In. Speedway near I70 and 269 gas $1.74.

Will the free fall ever end? What's your prediction for the bottom?

BP in Plainfield shows $1.69 if you use a BP credit card. Regular price $1.75 They try to suck you in with the $1.69 BP credit card price.

I was going to fill up all my gas cans when the price went under $2, but I think I will wait a little longer and see how low it does go before I fill up my emergency generator gas cans. Or buy a little if we are going to get an ice storm.

Our 1 cent per gal. tax increase is the excuse... If they gave it away the tax would go up... They say by mid summer the 1 cent tax may go away... Like we believe that chit...

Here in Northeast Pa, it's $2.62 per gal. As of Jan 1,2015 Pa. has put another 10 cents per gal tax on gas, and another dime later on. That has already been passed by Pa. law makers.

Gas here in Hilbert is $2.099. Premium is 2.749, diesel is 2.799.

Premium is closer to regular at most other stations, and since my vw takes premium I go to those ones more often.

I filled a 5 gallon can tonight and topped off my truck, and on the way back almost put my truck in the ditch because the roads are iced up from a light mist.

I grew up in Know. I would go through Lafayette on my way home. It was about half way between Terre Haute and Knox. I graduated college in 73. Wasn't smart enough to leave TH and return to the dairy farm.

It'll go as low as Opec needs it to go to put us and Russia out of the drilling business.
Couldn't believe it last Saturday, North Platte was 30 cents higher than McCook. Normally it's the other way around. When McCook was still at 2.50 Chadron was at 1.71. They even made the news as cheapest in the country.

I just learned that gas taxes are not uniform county by county. This may explain why some pay more than others.
