what kind or tractor does

I think he only drove the GP in the beginning of the show, the Hoyt Clagwell spent more time in front of the camera.

Remember the episode when Lisa bought him the new Ford with the cab, and somehow the neighbors ended up with it?

Yep,a new Ford 6000. She had it delivered to Fred Ziffle's house to hide it,had a big Happy Birthday card on it but it was Fred's birthday too. He had such a sob story about how bad he needed it that they just gave in and let him keep it.

Ziffle, spelled "Z - I - Heffle - Heffle - L - E"

To this day, I still say "heffle" instead of F.

She sure had a way with words. She believed in reincarceration. lol
Then there was the star of the Beverly Hillbillies. As Lisa called him,"Buddy Epstein".

I like Season 1 episode 7, where the neighbors help out with the plowing.(it's on youtube)
Some nice Fords pulling into the yard before and after they plow in that one.

I remember the episode where Mr Douglas and Eb were working on the tractor, probably the Hoyt.

Eb had the engine on a block and tackle rope hoist, had it attached to the barn loft jib crane, about 20 feet in the air...

He let go of the rope, they were both standing really close to the tractor when it came crashing down! Eb handled it well, Mr Douglas was suddenly aware of how close he came to really getting hurt, and he was not acting! I think some flying pieces actually hit him!

I researched this when this subject came up here some time back.

After the first year Ford Motor Co sponsored the program and from Season two on almost everything was Ford or ford based. Of course Oliver always drove a JD GP in the opening and if you look close there is a Farmall H or M next to a shed in the opening but all the vehicles and tractors are Ford or in the case of the Hoyt-Clagwell ford based.

The County Agent drove a Jeep in season one and then drove a Bronco from season two on.
