missouri auction

anyone know about a big auction in central mo in the last couple weeks that had a lot of tractors and parts scattered over several acres of trees. would love to see some pictures or sale results?

Yes, last Saturday North of I70 near Auxvasse Mo. Suzanna Wolfe Auctions...she has a website...think out of Williamsburg Mo. Boy was it muddy...folks got stuck left and right with nothing to pull them out. Later a nearby farmer brought over his tractor to help out folks.

Went there looking for old tractor/implement stuff but prepared for a scrap sale and that's what it was....scrap! Over 350 bidders & most stuff went high. Only a few non-running tractors and some had stuck engines...saw Farmall M's going 650 to 750...missed Ford 8N sale.

Over 50 piles of scrap went for 150 to 300 each or more for the copper piles. 75year collection but all sat outside and rusted away and some overgrown in trees. Unfortunately the dozers and bobcats and crew that pushed together and piled up stuff ruined some good things that could've sold separate. But their job was enormous.

I made the best buys by following a 2nd ring on tools, household stuff, and the sheds out back. Most tools went high but once in awhile something was cheap. Had to do picking to get thru the piles of junk to find what you wanted around the mobile home and back sheds but there were some neat old pieces like the old post vice I bought buried under household crap.
