Thinking about buying a 1991 TR 86 with under 4000 hours on the seperator. Dont know a whole lot about these machines.. What do you guys know about them? Are they reliable? Easy to find parts? Tell me all you know. Thanks!

I am not sure what engine a 1991 has, the earlier machines
had a 3208 and I think late 86's had a ford genesis engine. I'm
betting 1991 is the 3208 cat. They are a good combine, easy
to set, gentle on grain. I have heard people say that they are
hard to work on, but I don't think that they are. They have a
hydraulic feeder house reverser, and lateral tilt, and are
cheaper than other brands it seems. They also have a nice
cab. The only bad thing is aftermarket parts are not nearly as
available as a case or deere. I have a late tr85 now and my
next will be another new holland.
