This old disc was at the family farm, what brand is it? Not sure if it's been rebuilt from one or more discs.

Homemade from the foldouts off of a set of JDs. We've got the same foldouts in the scrap pile with the intentions of building a set.

Thanks for the information! It's a really well built disc. Whoever did the engineering did a good job. Looking forward to putting it to use this spring.

Those bearings cost a mint. I ended up junking my dad's old RW 14' because one bearing was out and the rest were getting there. New bearings would have been $1000 and they were non-greaseable.

Shoup sold me some of those bearings, don't see them online but I struggle with their online catalog..... Not cheap, but cheaper than Deere.

The other side should have a zerk or a plug in it for greasing, in the middle of that round bearing holder. Take the plug out and thread a zerk in. Sure helped mine last.
