Tractor and Dog

Which one is the wrong size?

Well with a guard dog that size you don't need to worry about un wanted visitors stealing your tractor, and equipment! only clues somebody tried might be an odd boot or shoe, that doesn't belong at your house, or the dogs off it's food for a day, as it's not hungry, After eating them L.O.L.

Thats a nice tractor I kinda like the look of it, Whats the story to it as it's unusual to see and well detailed.
Regards Robert

unless you are Gulliver (from the story) your shadow tells all. (you aren't 100 ft. tall are you. Nice model and the dog is fine. Jim

It is a scale model I found at a collectable show. It is a single cylinder engine that runs. It is water cooled, has a governor and ignition is battery powered. The tractor has a forward and reverse.

Thanks for that info. who ever built it was good at machine work. was it a kit or something you could buy at some point. My dad has a 1/4 to the ft scale, i believe working steam tractor kit from the U.K. He was machining and building it.But I bet its 30 years since he touched it though.
I'd really like to see one of those model tractors running in person, But I figure this is as close as the dog will let me to yours!
Thanks again for the close up picture it's very cool, and worth every $ you paid for it.
Regards Robert

(quoted from post at 21:40:41 12/13/14) Tractor is full size. Dog appeared in the movie "Attack of the 50 foot woman".
Holey cow I have not heard of that movie in years....

With a dog that size you'll need intruders to just feed him.

bob,
love the pics. i have a working model steam tractor featured in popular mechanic mag that a neighbor and i built. the mag. issue was feb,1971. it took us a year in spare time to build. if you ever decide to sell please give me a call wally, 248-623-9265. i would give a pic. if i could thanks wally

Are you sure that's a single cylinder model? It sure looks like a beautiful model of a late model E Rumely which was a two cylinder. Now I base that on the appearence of two exhaust pipes running to the oil radiator on your model. The model F single cylinder had only one exhaust pipe I believe. Also the rediator is too large for the F model which had a rediator somewhat wider than it was long. Whatever, it is one gorgeous model Rumely.
