Actually he can use 1 chain on things that are less than 5 feet long and weigh less than 1100 lbs.
5 to 10 feet long you need 2 chains
Over 10 feet long you need 2 chains for the first 10 feet and 1 chain for every extra 10 feet.
ie: over 10 but less than 20 feet requires 3 chains

That's a lot of nice rust going down the road.

Are ya sure you don't want to keep the David Bradley or the saw??? They're pretty cool, RB!

The only thing I had any interest in was 820 JD tractor. They changed their mind on selling it and the hit and miss engine. I did not show any pictures of the things we kept.

What make and model is that steel wheel mower? Think it might be a McCormic but not sure. If it would happen to be a McCormick No 7 or 9 I would sure like to have it but that is a bit too far to haul one. Let know what it brings at the auction if you will. Also the 3 pt. hitch weeder, is that a half of a Ferguson or just a hitch added to a horse weeder?
