Well my good time with the Flu spread. Both of my middle sons have it now as well. Between us all there is quite a few animals that HAVE to be fed each day. So We had to do the chores today.

Its been awhile since I have driven along a feed bunk while puking. LOL Last time was after large amounts of adult beverages.

The only good thing is that it is not too cold so a light jacket is all you need to wear. That makes the bathroom runs easier. I guess I should say bathroom SPRINTS LOL

Crap happens, even to the best of us. You may need to take a couple of shots of JD, (no not the stuff you buy for your tractors)
Hope it doesn't last too long
Loren.

Wish I didn't live clear across the state or I'd help too. Hope you get well quick. Doing chores when you're in that kind of shape is miserable. I remember walking feed bunks and letting it fly right on the ground, then laying in the bunk for a few minutes to recuperate before I went back to carrying feed. When you have livestock the chores have to go on whether you are under the weather or not. You can't call in sick. Jim

I have a buddy that swears 5ml of LA 200 followed by LARGE amounts of water will cure about anything.
Guess I just have never been sick enough to try it.

I've been sick for the last few days and actually considered that. I also stared at the bag and wondered what Eumiacin crumbles taste like. I've never been so miserable. I found a bootleg bottle of antibiotics in the drawer but I only have two left. I think that will be enough. I hope. If not, I'm putting those crumbles over yogurt like granola. Lol.

Reminds me of a story the vet told me once. He was a place and the farmer asked if vet had any bolos's for disentary, he went to the truck and handed him a box and said that they were getting them from a different company but they where the same. Farmer looked at them and said ya they work but don't taste as good! Neighbor also told me once a couple cc's of penicilin in your coffee will help too!

Hang in there, got to get better. I have taken a teaspoon of penicillin in milk. Twice a day. Vic

"Ridin' the china pony".

My sympathies, JD- I remember my dad milking and going to his carpenter job when he was sick. Luckily, I've always had jobs with "sick leave", but they don't have that in farming.

Sounds like what I had a couple months back. Never had it coming out both ends before, hard to puke while seated on the toilet. I think I got rid of stuff that had been in my gut for years.

I feel for ya man! :(

Y'all... flu is a virus. Penicillin , augmentin nor any of the mycin drugs will touch it.
What will help flu symtoms are the antivirals such as Tamiflu. They are prescription only.
As bad as we all hate to do it (myself included) you should probably see a doctor.(and take the flu shot next year)
Hope you get to feeling better.
