OT--Another computer question

I watch a lot of funny videos, mostly on you tube.
Today, for some reason, I can click on a video and nothing happens.
I typed in JD Tractor, and went to video search. I could download several and then it stopped. Refresh the page and load a few more before it stopped.
By stopping, I mean when I click on a video, it does nothing.
I am sure it has to be in my settings---or what?

Clearing the temp folders and cookies often clears up such
problems. Visiting web sites leaves little bits of stuff in your
computer; over time this clogs up the thinking of your
computer, and it doesn't know if it should use the bits in your
computer or the new stuff on the web site..... Just basically
your browser gets confused.

In Internet explorer, go to the 'tools' drop down menu, the
bottom option on that list I believe, in there you can delete
temp files and cookies. Any web site that needs these things
will rebuild them, so safe to do. You might need to re enter
your name and password for sites like this one is all.

I agree with Paul. Go to Filehippo and download CCleaner to get rid of the junk. This gem of a download is totally free and utterly marvelous!

Times 100 on Ccleaner. You will have to reload your passwords, but it's well worth it. Also a good idea to download one of the free anti-malware programs like Malwarebytes and run that. I believe "malware" means "malicious soft wear" and it's bad stuff. My wifes laptop had 661 hits including several "Trojans", whatever they are. Runs lots better now.

I'm very slowly learning my way around the inside of a computer. It's completely foreign to me, but interesting.
