Hmmm, It Reminds Me Of Something....

Someone welded some light gauge sheet steel to the frame of a 3pt finish mower and put some JD green paint on it and call it a box scraper. I guess the green paint will make it strong.

You forgot to mention the green paint ads 40% to the value, based on the standard DII, or Deere Inflation Index. If it had the 4 legged Deere decal, the DII would be 45%. :D

Oh I know... Talk about half a$$... Shoot it right there and then take a picture of it... Paint was probably still wet!!

It is probably still sitting there too!!
 
Does that mean the firewood is worth more too??

Ya I knew it had been on there for a while!! Evey time he would renew it, it would change the link back to blue instead of purple, so guess what, I would click on it again!!!! Today was the final straw... Figured a bunch of you guys would get a kick out of the "Craigs List Find Of The Day"... :)

Did you get any snow down there Eldon, or was it just us??

Just a skiff yesterday....then ice this morning. Fortunately we just stay home....
 
Well.... I would LOVE to have another JD 40, mine is awesome, but the tractor that is pictured doesn't look quite the same as mine...

On the other hand, what ever that is, I will give him $2500 CASH for it right now!!!!!! :)

It's a "her"...ya know. Seems the scammers appear to be female so you think they are selling cheap because they don't know the real value....
 
Didn't even see that... Scammers are smart though!! You would have thought that they would have said that they just needed to sell it, and didn't know exactly what it was, other than JD.... :
 
Says he won't take trades, either his last craigslist deal landed him that worn out mower deck or he even believes no-one could come up with something they'd be willing to trade for that invention!
 
Wow. Just an old mower deck with some plate welded to it. Problem is it wont work very good with no cutting edge on it. It's going to lift off of the ground as soon as whatever is under it hits the deck from the bottom side assuming it collects anything to begin with and be frustrating to operate. Also with no cutting edge it will just float over whatever somebody is trying to scrape off. I don't think it will scrape dog poop off of the sidewalk. I guess with enough weight piled on top it may work. Heck, you can pick up nice used scrapers with ripping teeth for the same or slightly more money and have a real scraper box.
