Does anyone wear

A copper bracelet for arthritis?? Do they do any good?? If I remember right the Vietnamese people wore them. To keep this tractor related I'm thinking of taking my Massey loader tractor and wagon out to cut wood today, the sun is shining and it's suppose to get up to 20 this afternoon.

Tried it for awhile. It did nothing. Neither did the magnets in my pockets, but then I never thought either one would work.

I tried aluminum foil in my hat to keep the government from probing my brain with beams sent down from satellites. It works! I can say with a certainty that I have not had one brain probing from a government satellite since I put it in there.

If you THINK it works, it might just help you some. From a medicinal point? Don't have to be a doctor to know that is a lot of nonsense, eh?

know several people, one an uncle of mine who swear by them, but I never tried them. the uncle just uses a piece of old copper tubing

Morphine and predazone will work much better!!!!!!! More morphine than predazone!!!!!

Funny you ask that, my grandmother wore a copper bracelet for as long as I knew her, well before dementia set in, she claimed it did work for her. Ironically, I never saw or heard of her complaining of arthrititis.

I believe you will have to clean it often, as it will patina and oxidize.

We had a governor that complained about radio waves entering his office on the 9th floor and penetrating his brain. He asked for an aluminum foil hat. He was eventually impeached and put out of office. A year or two later he was put in some facility. The public was told that he had alzheimers, but that may not have been the truth.

One shouldn't critics all that hoeckes poeckes.
I put a scare crow in my garden every summer and haven't had any Kangroos or elephants in it.

I don't know about copper but many years ago my grandmother went for acupuncture for her arthritis and it did wonders for her.

Mike in MN,

My grandfather swore by it, however, the copper was supposed to have carried electricity before using it.

He said it worked. Had a green wrist to boot.

If I remember correctly, copper isn't too far from gold on the periodic chart of elements, and there's rumor gold wards off some arthritic pain.

(quoted from post at 11:54:12 12/03/14) Are you saying I am crazy?!? How did you figure it out?
HAY !!! I resemble that remark... Ha Ha

How far back?
My Great Great Grandparents kept a small potato on their person to word off Arther. Then it was electric probes then copper bracelets then magnets and I'm sure there will be more so-called cures come down the turnpike sooner or later.
I'm with JOCCO more prednisone but screw the morphine.

I have never tried one but my father swore by his also he would spray the sore joints with WD 40 he thought it worked and if you think it works sometimes thats all it takes.
John

I can sort of believe the WD40. I know a guy mixes DMSO with (I think) WD40 and says it works. DMSO is a solvent and should allow WD40, which has a lot of fish oil in it reportedly, to penetrate.

My wife's grandpa used to rub WD-40 on his shoulders and knees when they got sore. Whether it works or not I guess he only knew, I myself would rather not go around smelling like WD -40 all day!

What? Wait now nobody said anything like that... Wildest Turkey, Reverend Jack, Johnny Black Walker are medicinal.
