Posted a while back about a 4wd problem. As suggested by someone here could be a ratio problem. Sure enough someone had replaced the rear differential assy. with the wrong one. Guess when in Africa no bothers to check what the original one was.

Hey, John Deere did that with many brand-new 50 series tractors. We had to split them all and change the gearing. Mostly 2750s and 2950s. Before they were fixed, and in 4WD they would tear up a field something awful.
 
In Africa I wouldn't say it's because no one checked, it could be as much that the wrong one was all they had or all that was available.
