Tractor Ride

I just bought another tractor. Instead of messing around and getting a trailer I'm going to drive it home. Its about 20 miles away so it shouldn't be too bad. Its a Massey 180 MP. 33 and dropping so today's the day. What better way to try it out.

many of you helped me find the way to delete the emails in the trash folder.. I was successful in doing that.. now the question is... I am not seeing in anything in the trash folder, after about 2 weeks, nothing. did I do something that caused the trash folder to delete them automatically.. any answers thanks I may have this wrong forum

I'm home already. It took just an hour. Only mistake I made was I didn't take any googles and there was sleet. Picture to follow.

Well here it is. Seemed to handle the trip just fine. It was a little chilly and sleet can sting the eyes. It stopped at the Rossi's town barn and borrowed some safety goggles.

Thats an MF that was not sold here.

Blue tractor in background - is it a Fiat or Universal that was sold by Long in US?

Yep. Its a 445 Long. UBT licensed under Fiat. Kinda
of neat little tractor but I haven't figured out the
hydraulics. PO said they worked but they let it sit
for a few years. I bought it and robbed the tires
for my 65 Massey. Its for sale. Are those Longs
popular in Wales?

Long were not sold as a brand over here, although the Bamfords balers were Long models imported and badged as Bamford BL xx {Bamford Long}

We had the original range of that Fiat sold as Fiats, and were popular well build tractors from 45 to 100HP.

Then some of the Universal UTB range by an importer - quality of these Fiat copies was poor.

The larger size square styled Long tractors were the Zetor {Ursus} which sold in large numbers as the Zetor Crystal 90HP here.

We had the real Fiats as Hesston over here. You
don't see many Zetors here. There were some Longs
there like Leylands. I think the big Fords over here
are Fiats.

Dad bought a 180 used from the dealer and took it out to show off at the Masonic farm. He was not happy when the draw bar mount fell off half way across the field(pull type plow). Before the summer was over it was in the shop four times for hyd repair.
The guy that bought it at the auction used it for twenty years and never spent a dime on it.
