(quoted from post at 15:21:32 11/27/14) It seems like many of the CIH dealers have Kubota as well. I know CIH did not have a real good utility or compact tractor for years.
Did the Kubota sales guys target the CIH dealers????

The company I work for has taken a serious look at Kubota due to lack of small tractors in the CIH line. There were various reasons we didn't add the line.
(quoted from post at 19:14:32 11/27/14) Case IH is the same tractor as new Holland compact which is a good tractor . Maybe they see the writing on the wall and figure kubtoa has a longer term future then CNH
(quoted from post at 16:01:04 11/27/14) Seems like all the "small " dealers are being forced to sell out to larger dealers. Both of the local dealers CIH and Deere have changed their names in the last year. I heard the price of parts trippled in some cases. I have a friend working for another large CIH dealer and December they close, bought / merged into the larger dealership. All kinds of adds for help both sales and mechanics. Several friends affected. More price control cannot be good for the farmers.
ow do you figure that? new holland has a BETTER compact/ sub-compact tractor line-up than that orange thing.(quoted from post at 05:31:53 11/28/14) JD,
The dealers are now CNH dealers. IH is out of the loop due to FIAT.
Around here the family dairy farms are all but gone, only BTOs left. A CNH dealer can't make a living dealing with them, but every home owner needs a lawn mower, and all of the newbi city landowners think they need a compact 4wd tractor with a mower. CNH doesn't have a good lineup in that catagory.
With Kubota now entering the higher HP tractor market, and haying and tillage markets, there is the posability that some CNH dealers around here will tell Fiat to shove it.
