trying to attaching a snow blower to my 165 hydro

I bought a used snow blower last year, which
was supposed to fit my 165. I was hoping to
attach it tonight, BUT, the frame is to wide to
connect to the pins that are part of the frame.
My solution was to cut the brackets off and
then re weld them in to fit closer to the
frame. Could someone post pictures of how it
attaches to the front of the tractor. I am
assuming that I will need to make some brackets
for the front. My Dad broke his hip and I need
to remove snow up at the neighbors. To much to
do and I have too little time to do them.
Thank you

Mine hooks up to the frame beside each front tire..I have a front bumper that comes off...two holes in frame with cotter pin bolts..and two bolts under those that are permanent on frame of cub...the bottom of blower just slides in those two and the top (removable bolts with cotter pins) hold it all together. I have a slt 1554 that I use...I also have a older 1811 hydro...I wish I could find a blower for that one...It's an all around better cub...Hope this helps.

After I get the rear of the frame attached to the tractor frame I will need to fabricate a triangular piece to attach to the two holes in the tractor frame and one that bolts to the snow blower frame. This will be the pivot point for the lift. I would like to only have to make it once by duplicating one that someone else already has. It may also need to have an attachment point for a side brace. At least I hope that that is what that rod is for.
Thank you
