Thank You Veterans

Thank you to all veterans that decided to pay the price and sacrifice with their lives, if necessary, so that their fellowman could live in a democracy with basic human rights and liberty.

The local radio station, can only talk about the snow we have and how much more we will get. AND then they played "The Green Beret". I got up and listened to it word for word. We do not hear it often enough.

I think we've compared notes on this before. I was in a Marine fighter squadron for carrier quals on the Sara in the fall of 1956 when the ship herself was brand new and still in shakedown.

Thanks to all of my fellow servicemen for their service!

My thanks to all who served before me and those who served or are serving after me.
To all of you that express your thanks, you are very welcome. As Americans, it is part of what we did to preserve our way of life. Our country has some problems, but it is the best show in town.
Even the Native Americans express their appreciation, invite all Veterans for free buffet dinner at their casino, just up the road a few miles. The place was packed last night with old Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, & Airmen.
My Dad was too young for the Great War, too old for WWII, brother was in Army 58-61, I was in USAF 61-65.
SWMBO lost a brother in Korea.
