Just got back from town getting a tire on my wife's Grand Cherokee. 235/75R/15 Cooper made in USA.
Total was $84. Great price I think.

That was dirt cheap. Last tire I go on my Geo Tracker was a 215/75R15 and cost $130 but it does have road hazard on it also so that adds a bit to the cost

Hey old, I should have bought 2 at that price, but will probably go back in a few weeks to get another.
How are things in MO. It is getting winter here at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Planning on cooking sorghum syrup this Saturday.

I still need one more tire for that Geo Tracker. 3 are new and then one on the front is about bald. If I could find a good deal I would do 2 that way I would have a new tire for a spare.
As for weather been down around 21 one night and cool at night. No 2nd cutting of hay this year due to being way to dry

Truck tires or car tires? P235/75-15" Cooper "Trendsetter SEs" where I am are $68 each. Add another $12 for mounting and balancing if you can't do yourself. The Cooper LT235/75-15" around here are a lot more. $110 to $135.

You had better bought all 4 the same. If that has the 4 wheel drive setting that makes it an AWD (forget jeeps name) you will tear it up with mismatched tires.

Last tires I got for one of my Trackers (last summer) I paid $58 each plus $11 each for shipping. Gone up a little since then.

If you shop around online you can find some good prices from local tire shops. Even Walmart has good deals on their special buy items. Last month I had them install four Goodyear Viva2 225/60R16 (60,000 mile) tires on an old Bonneville for $345 total out the door. They are not high end tires, but they will pull a 19 year old car through the snow for a few years.

That is a really good price.

Last winter I paid $300 out the door for 2 front tires, 235/70/16s I thought that was an okay price. (Coopers too by the way)

Ya but then you had to pay to have them mounted and balanced. What I pay is mounted balanced and road hazard and that comes with free rotation etc etc

Got two new 235/75-R16s Kelly Safari Trex tires for $50 ea. Not mounted. Craig's List find. Labels still on them, excellent shape, blue stuff still on the white lettering. Got a HF manual tire changer for $15 on CL.
