Slept in this AM

Really cold night. Alarm went off so I turned it off and slept an extra hour. Come downstairs and it turns out I got up at the usual time. Now I am trying to figure out if I should be tired later today because I didn't get to sleep in like I wanted? I find the whole concept of daylight savings time to be a tad confusing.

My grandmother hated it with a passion. She was a very devout Mennonite woman. Every spring she just about got giddy because we were going back to "God's time". That's how she referred to the spring change back. Man, was she a grouch all winter.

Must be a Mennonite thing. My father-in-law is a Mennonite with the same distaste for daylight savings. To him, it was "too much bother to change the cows." I think they were more adaptable than him.

In the end it doesn't matter... my wife will tell you, daylight savings or not, he's late for everything.

You are lucky.
I usually eat a big dinner on Saturday night, wife and I go to a local place and I eat a good meal. Well.....Nature calls early Sunday AM, usually 4-5am I have to get up and take care of that. I was able to go back to sleep for an hour, then my cat gets me up at 6:30. Luckily I go to bed around 9 every night. The extra hour of sleep was nice.
