Drove in the first snow of the season last night, saw a driver buy a jug of Howes fuel treatment, turned on the bunk heater for the first time, and time falls back tonight. All within 24 hours. No good can come from this.

Yes, the cold weather is hear down in E. Texas too. Down to 37deg. But sunny.
It is time for it now. Every one made lots of hay around here. Got A little more to cut and bale. Get ready, Holidays are about here.

I clean my heat unit Fri. and lite it, then turn it on. All ready.

37 this am going to 62 today and 34 tonight.
That is a 20 degrees drop from what it has been all week.

We could get our first frost of the season tonight if the wind lays down.

It will be short lived though as we will be back up in the high 70's to low 80;s by Tuesday.

We got our first killing frost here yesterday morning. We are supposed to have fluries and windy tomarrow. May have to fire up the wood boiler. Been getting along with the fireplace so far this fall.

Drove through the first snow in Duluth on the 4th of October, heavy and wet, everything was white, lasted as far south as Moose Lake on I35.
