are loader joystick controls re build-able?

I have a customer who wants me to come look at his Kubota L2600 tractor. He says that the joystick is very sloppy and loose, and has been for sometime. He said that He could always tell that it didn't go all the way back to neutral, and the pump would run against the stop (probably on the bucket tilt back). Now he says that the loader up and down, as well as the bucket tilt are very slow, and he has to hit just the right spot on the controller for them to work at all. He said revving the tractor didn't seem to make a difference. I also asked him about the three point hitch, and he said it seems to be working normal. I don't have any experience with joysticks, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -Morgan

Open tractor , or with a cab? Cab type often use cables from joystick to control, open tractors can just have linkage on the control. My 585 CaseIH open tractor had a joystick mounted on the control, and it got so wore that the loader worked just as you have stated. New linkage was my cure.

Yes, need more information, but the lever control itself, and or the linkage to the valve, have replaceable parts if its something like a Nimco, which was on our challenger tractor that eventually had similar problems, the parts were expensive for that one and it was literally just the nylon pivot or ball ends on them that failed. There is a pivot post on the Nimco joystick handle, and a nylon ball inside. Not all that impressed with the materials used. Here is a diagram and photos of that one. Snow collapsed the roof and contributed to the problem with that one, as you can see the crack, but it had issues prior I think. Annoying as heck when using the forks as I recall.

Morgan Yes.. the L 2600 is not offered in a cab. It has a basic Kubota loader with the valve controlled by linkage right there at the operation point. Going to take four end and pins and a couple of ball joints. Any good KUBOTA parts man will be able to sell you what you need.
