Wanted to try and get a couple hours of archery hunting in this afternoon, but this guy just kept hanging around. He knew I was there but didn't care.

In my part of Tn it is legal to take one with a bow during bow season.We had 6 killed in Fentress county opening weekend a couple of weeks ago.

What were you hunting for, its bow season here in Iowa for deer, haven't got one yet but haven't seen many this year, is it illegal where you are to hunt a bear with a bow. Do you use a compound or cross bow?

We had an early bear season in september this year in southern NY (Catskill Mts about 100 miles from NYC). Last I heard 14 bear taken. We had two around the house on and off all summer.

It is Deer season for archery here in PA. Bear can be hunted with a bow, but only in bear season.
