Which sickle teeth do I have on Gleaner 300 style head?

I have a F2 gleaner with a 15 ft head with floating cutter bar. It is not the auto height control. It has a few teeth to replace, but cannot figure out which number they are to order them. They measure 2.5 long to the tip, 3 inch wide. I think it is a 300 or 315 header. Any help on which teeth I may have is greatly appreciated.

You need to ID just what you have....the 300 is a (1980s) series of flex heads, last two numbers designate width...315, 320, etc. Flex is not the older style floating cutterbar.

If it was a FCB it could be any of several add-on brands like Love, Hiniker, Hart-Carter, etc. Either style COULD have auto header height, but if yours doesn"t, I"m thinking it"s an older head with the add-on bar. The header should have an ID tag on the left side.

You need to ID the FCB mfgr. Look for casting numbers on the guards. Love is a yellow bar, H-C was black. Check the sections for rivet hole spacing...different brands used different widths, even though the section width is the same. Thus the knifeback is specific to brand as well.

Take some teeth off your head to the dealer. Only sure way to ID. I had a 315 I changed to SCH. Tigerjaw was another common change over in my area.

Is it all Gleaner? We had a Gleaner, but bought our own floating cutter bar for it. The floating cutter bar was Hart Carter brand.

I think Our Gleaner dealer sold Hart Carter sections, but you need to identify what you have.

The Hart Carter had tan to cream colored dividers and painted parts.

Mine were H-C here.

I took one to the Runnings store (any fleet and farm supply store), matched up, and good to go.
