Is Thanksgiving celebrated in all of the Canadian Providences? Seems that years ago when my oldest daughter lived in the Presque Isle, Maine area New Brunswick & Nova Scotia didn't celebrate it but Quebec did?
And a happy Columbus day to you all too.
There will be a lot of Aah people visiting us here on their southern border. Usually a few will stop by my place and wonder why this dumb old man keeps smiling with all of the bad things happening here in the good old USA.
I believe they come over here for the same reasons that I go there, to see what they have been up to and, for a while forget our own troubles.

You in the frozen North have all the luck, eh? You get Thanksgiving in October, then can go visit some US friends or relatives for another in 6 weeks.
I'm not jealous of Boxing Day, however- too close to Christmas, and I've never been much for boxing, anyhow. Don't know how you could make a celebration out of it.
