Any of Y'all contract for propane through April? Last day here and the price was 1.85. Delivery price is 1.60. Lots of forcasters saying another long cold winter.
How does that compare with your prices?

I think that you are getting robbed!!! My contract up here in balmy tax free NH with Amerigas is only $3.70.9. You should be paying no more than 25% of what we pay here.

We contracted with Cenex for $1.69 about 2 weeks ago. Fill price was $1.60 at that time. By Sioux Falls.

I prebought 2,500 gallons in (IIRC) May to get my second "free" 500 gallon tank. Price was $1.39/gal.

I contracted and prepaid for 1000 gallons in July. $1.69 a gallon and no dead line on when I have to get it delivered. Can get it all next week or 300 gallon delivered over any period of time. I'm in Illinois, St. Louis area

I never have enough extra money to worry about prebuy. Years previous it didn't matter very much. Last year was the one that gouged most everyone ! Me included. Though my suppliers still didn't put it to me as bad as many of you out there.

Contracted 800 gals last month at $1.48. Topped off the tank last week at $1.50 cash price. I own my own tank but have been with the same supplier for 15 years.

From what I have heard and read, they aren't expecting a shortage of propane. Like last year, the issue will be transportation. I about ran out last year waiting as long as possible for the prices to drop before filling....still paid $2.55. I'm covered this year...

I prepaid for my home use at $1.98. Agricultural use is typically 20 cents less.
