Great picture. Not a combine or a picker though, I believe it is a chopper but it could be a picker grinder which picks the corn and then grinds it cob and all.
I am Glad that you posted it.

Yup. Chopper. They were built on the 525 combine frame.

Oliver made two models of forage harvesters. The 840 self-propelled and the 830 pull type. They purchased the cutting units from Fox and mounted them on their own frames. I owned and 830. Had their strong points, but had some weak points too. At the time Oliver purchased the units they were at the tail end of the lifespan of that particular technology. (which is precisely why Fox sold the units to Oliver in the first place)
