Steve A W/Shag bark nuts

Last week Dave H (MI) and I were discussing this years shag bark nut crop; not so good for his trees but in comment, you mentioned a surplus on yours. Would you be interested in going to the trouble to send some to me in Idaho? As many as you want to bother with, all expenses paid. I'm looking for nuts right off the limb or ones that haven't been on the ground much longer than it takes to pick them up and aren't holed by that tiny infernal boring worm! Email is open.

You never sent me an e-mail but I will give you the info. Just so you know, the place is 20 miles from my home and I have a lot keeping me busy these days so slogging to the back of a muddy bean field checking on nuts is going to get a place on the back burner most days. That being said, I don't really see anything except what is laying on the ground and I wouldn't know if the worms had got to them or not. Was out there today for the first time in two weeks, not going back for a at least another week. Afraid I can't be of much help.
