Started snowing here in N Wisc. at around 9:00 pm. Sticking to the ground, hate the dam stuff. We still have to change oil in the plow truck and use the tractor to plow the garden. The first snow last year here was Oct 23, 2013, that was the first snow that fell here. We're earlier this year, is that due to Global Warming???lol. Thought you would like to know.
Regards,
LOU

Lou, keep it on that side of the lake for awhile, please. putting up an implement shed, knew I'd stumble into the cold weather, just don't want the slick stuff til at least the roof is done. thank you very much

I got close to 6 inches of rain the other day. Just think if that had been snow? You can keep the white stuff.

No snow here yet but it can happen. I don't think it has ever stayed for good at this date though. Better not, with half the crop still in the fields. Its cold enough though. Down in the 20s overnight. Hope those potatoes left in the garden are deep enough to escape the frost.

Just heard on the news, this morning was the third earliest snow ever in northern Illinois.

You all have got to come 1000 ml further north/west for nice weather.
Shirtsleeve weather today.
Garden was done already a month ago, nothing froze and no snow on it either..
