Finally had to break down and put 2 new drive tires on my truck. Made 250,000 miles on these, mostly on the drive axle. $2000.00 for 2. Looks like it's time to give her a bath too. Lol

I've got to get 2 new tires for my hay sled and am really dreading it. :>(

It's obscene what they charge for tires anymore.

dont get caught in one of those minn. snow storms -- them look like dry road tires -- maybe some rain would be ok -- tires are not cheap -- the ones you took off should be worth something --thats what goes on wagons around here -- do you use anything on the inside to balance them?keeping the shake out of a tire makes em run longer -- good shocks keep the tire on the ground when you are running emty and make run longer too-- no skipping -saw some snow flurry today -- YUK -- north west Iowa -- Roy

I've had the truck for a wnter and a half and had no trouble with snow or water. No balancing or beads, these are better ballanced than the originals tho.

My son had super singles on one of his feed hauling trucks and he didn't get stuck any more often with them than he did with regular duals here in northwest Iowa. He didn't get near the miles per tire you do because of the rural roads. Jim

That is just unbelievable! It seemed like I was at the tire store every month when I had my truck.

Mounting should be less since they didn't have to pull the rim off the axle. At least you did not have full molded fenders such as some these days, to deal with.

This is going to the exhaust. I was at Mahomet,IL this winter and saw a Wayne Pete that had exhaust pipes coming out the back of the hood, going down under the steps and dumping behind the cab. I wondered how he kept the heat down at the hood.
