John Deere 630 getting engine oil in transmission

We have a John Deere 630 getting engine oil into the transmission oil. Is it possible there is a seal between the engine and transmission or did the seal go out of the crank?
Thanks

Chances are the crankshaft seal is the culprit
& the bearing clearence is too great.

A Blocked oil feed to the Rt Main may be starving that Rod and Main and the symptom is the Rt Main Seal failing, letting engine oil into the Transmission (via the 1st Reduction).

Use a Dial-Indicator on the crankshaft end and see how much "up & down" clearance the Rt Main bearing has..
Mine had .070" and didn't make any noise..(but the Rod bearing was going away)..

You see, John Deere used an "O-Ring" ( they call a Gasket) between the engine Block and the Bearing Quill and it can swell and block the oil passage..

Thanks for the feedback guys. The unfortunate part is I had this apart a couple of years ago for an overhaul, new bearings and reground crank. I thought everything was right at the time, but I'll have to rip it down again see what messed up. Again, thanks.
