1420 ih combine electrical

I have 1420 ih combine. When i start the engine. sometimes the electrical system doesn't work. for a short period of time. and sometimes it stays on after the ignition switch is off. I'm wondering if the relay under the dash is sticking or going bad. or could it be something else?
 
Our Case 580M backhoe does that sometimes I just spray throttle cable with lubricant. Its up by the injection pump that needs sprayed most of the time. That hoe has the 4 cylinder Cummins. Greg

My problem is the electic ove hydraulics. Nothing works while the engine is running. Can fan, lights, hydraulics. Ect...
 
You have two different systems to deal with, all cab electric goes through the big relay at the rear of the console, that relay does fail and will be slow to come on / off for everything in the cab.

The other thing is the electric over hydraulics setup uses an oil pressure switch back at the left rear of the engine to allow power to the hydraulics only when the engine is running and has oil pressure.
That switch can / does fail and causes erratic / no hydraulic function.
