I just got into my locked up Photobucket so I"m sharing some pix.

This is the hand clutch I put on 3 tractors when I broke my left ankle in 2000, before Spring planting. Note pressure transfers to clutch pedal, not on the attaching bolts.

This idea is in the AgrAbility archives, along with their unnecessary/impractical modifications. Was previously in FarmShow with erroneous text that they refuse to retract.

Handles cost about five bucks each to make....made one pattern after thinking about it, worked fine, so put them on all the field tractors. Doesn"t interfere with able-bodied operator. Kids made sure equipment was hitched/loaded before school so I could run something all day.

A friend of mine has an uncle that was paralyzed from the waist down in an accident about 30 years ago. He wanted to keep farming so they retrofitted all their equipment with a pole and 12 volt winches that had seats on them so he could ride up and swing himself into the cab as well as had handles like that on all the pedals so he could still operate them. Even his pickup had a handle mounted on the steering column that controlled the brake and throttle.

Have a friend who can drive almost anything with a anto or power shift. with just a Pipe with a c on the down end with rubber hose on it and a handle on the top. He is strong enough to pull his self up into almost anything. Has a earth moving business, and is a great operator! Doesn't modify hardly anything.
