Fox snapper head

I know this is not the answer you are looking for but there are plenty of Deere two rows and someplace I have been recently had a 1 row but I can't remember just where right now. Anyways I would say Fox snapper heads are scarce enough that maybe it might pay to look for a Deere then build an adaptor plate to mount it to the Fox. Also, it is possible just to run one row with a two row head but not the other way around. The lift system also needs to be taken into account if you cross fit but anything is possible with enough patience and thought. Hopefully, that Fox head will show up for you.

243 was 2 row narrow, for the 300 picker or pull-type choppers. There were no combines narrow enough to fit behind it. The 244 was a 2 row wide, also for the 300 picker and pull-type choppers, as well as the 3300/4400 combines and 45/55 combines if they had the quik-tach feederhouse.

I am looking for a3 or 4 row
I've found out that Fox runs the forage heads opposite of other brand heads does that hold true with combine heads as well

WHOA>>> I knew that name when I was in my teens. I am 64 now. Tough machines and I hope you find something! Jeffcat

What chopper are you looking to fit? I know they
were available for the apron style choppers, not
sure about the later ones.

It would be very difficult to adapt a JD or other
head to an apron style chopper... and this is
coming from someone who put a kernel processor on
a 3000!
