oliver problem

Oooh,that's not good. It there a loud whining sound that sounds like a hydraulic valve is stuck?
If no whine,are you loosing hydraulic fluid? If that's the case,it might be the front seal of the pump dumping oil in to the rear end,causing it to be over full and the pump drive gear is slinging it up there.
Mine had a bad noise with the slinging one time followed by smoke. That time,the cotter pin came out of the pump drive gear and the shaft slid out.
 
Is a lot of oil coming out or it just stays wet? I have several
Oliver's and they all stay wet around the gear shift lever.

It wouldn't be hydraulic oil,but 90 gear lube unless you're loosing a lot out of the hydraulic reservoir. They're two different things. If you are loosing hydraulic oil,are you only loosing it when it's running or when it isn't,too?
 
Now when I went to add 90 weight gear oil hydraulic fluid came running out
With thsystem 90 w.gear oil. Then we took the seat off and the cover to the pump the whole system was empty. can anyone tell us why?
