Fire Dept Training: Tractor Roll Over

Has anyone on here ever help their local Vol. Fire Dept with Tractor roll over training??

I would like to find a junk tractor that our dept here in Nebraska could use for training purposes.

Larger than a IH M. Maybe a 1066 size.
Hoping a local farmer would donate such a tractor. A tractor that maybe caught fire and was totaled? Would be tax write off.

Any stories of your local depts. training for such an event??

Always be prepared...we see all types of accidents.

Maybe borrow one or two from a local salvage yard, then bring them back when you are done?

I agree on the salvage yards. Also ask your local scrappers, maybe you can borrow one from them before it gets hauled to the scrap yard.

not specifically for a tractor rollover but we do have heavy rescue training on various vehicles from cars to trucks and the methods can be adapted to most situations.
It covers lifting with air bags or hydraulic jacks, cutting open the doors/sides of vehicles, wrapping chain and up righting a roll over.
also heavy construction rescue from concrete and structural steel collapse

The tractor Test Museum at Lincoln has a WC Allis that has been flipped lots of times. You should go look at it.
