600 ford fuel problem?

I have a 600 ford that runs good for 20 or so minutes then sputters and shuts down. I crack the sediment bowl slightly then it runs fine for a while and then I repeat the process over and over. It does it less on a full tank of gas. Any ideas how to fix? :?:

Pull the carb drain plug and make sure you have a steady flow of gas. Work your way back till you find where it slows down. Also when it does that pull the gas cap off and see if that helps. Some times the tank vent can clog and cause that or the tank can get hot and boil the gas which can cause that

or the cap is not vented and its creating a vaccum... but probably a stopped up screen or line.

or float is set too low and its running the bowl dry.
