off subject hog hunting

i am thinking of goin south this winter sometime to do some hog hunting wanting to make some contacts an maybe set something up. anyhelp would very nice. i dont like to deal with outfitters, i have more fun setting up hunts with plain ol folk like myself., dont always get my succellful hunt but i usually have alot of fun an get to meet alot of nice folk.

I know you aren't real interested in outfitters, but 2 years ago, I went down to the Spike Box ranch. They put us up, fed us, and hauled us out to where we hunted. I think it was about $400/person per day. Shoot as many hogs as you wanted, and they would quarter whatever you wanted.
I thought it was a very fair price. They are located out of Benjamin TX.

Try to see if you can hunt those hogs from a helicopter......Looks like fun. I have heard that some farmers will pay for your trip, you bring the AR and the ammo. Do not know who pays for the helicopter ride time.

i am not sure where i am heading to yet, just see what i get put together. if i can get put in touch with some farmers or ranchers. i have never hog hunted an it has always looked like a ball. i am willing to pay some for hunting, that isnt the issue. i am a little cheap also though. i tried a outfitter one time an was not impressed have not used one since.
