Did they tell you that your new washer SPEED QUEEN was made in the USA??? I hope the appliance store Gave you the 4-5 year warrantee my store had a program for that and they service them. Also I recently bought a set of torches after much looking I stayed with my regular dealer and the set was MADE IN USA (Water Town SD)some parts of it are lifetime warrantee!!!! The price was not so pleasant though!!!!

Speed Queen washers are made in Ripon, WI. The warranty is from Speed Queen.

The local store I bought it from has been in business for as long as I can remember. So I am not too worried about them not servicing it.

The last washer came from Lowes. My wife did the whole deal then. She wanted the Maytag because her sister had a set and "loved" them. Her sister's blew up last year. LOL

My wife is bad about buying on price ONLY!!! She does not figure the "true" best value.

I have had the same experience buying from a local store and not buying from a big box store.

Find a good dealer.
