Today is my anniversary of 52 years of living on 1/4 stomach, Yesterday I had breakfast with one of the nurses who tended to me in the I C room, she rememered that day better than me.
Is there any one on here that has lived that long after that operation?

September 11, 1958 was the day Mao Tse Tung said I was going to die. He obviously didn't get the job done.

9/11 has dual meaning for me.

I showed the Gold-Leaf-Deere at 102 shows,From the West at Rollag to the East at Canandaique and From the North at Hickory Corners to the South at Fort Meade.
I estimate 3 Million people saw the 'D' Plus I hauled it 37,000 miles.
It was a situation wether my body or the Dodge Cummins would wear out first, The Dodge won.

Mr Harvey 2, I do not remember that conversation. I did meet the true originator of the Two Cylinder Club, long before Jack' claim that he is the originator of the club.

My father had a similar operation at the age of 29 in 1950, after developing stomach ulcers. He lived to the blessed age of 89.
