John Deere 850 front tire

My John Deere 850 tractor has a flat front tire which needs to be replace. The tire says 7-14,no other size information. The manual says the tire is a 5.00-15. Which is it?

I don't think you can argue with the size shown on a TIRE!

According to the parts catalog, for serial numbers over 16,001, there was an option of 14" or 15" front rims.

Looks like you got the 14" version.

And MAYBE the OM for the older version?

There are actually three options for fronts on an 850. I have the 5.00-15 on my 2 wheel drive, which is the conventional skinny front tractor tire. But one of the options was for turf tires, where the tractor was equipped with smaller and wider tires on both the front and rear. The 4WD model fronts would be the third option.
