A Famous Bryce Question, Whats It Worth?

I personally didn't think that they were really worth all that much, but upon doing a little research, I have discovered that a newly acquired possession of mine is somewhat rare!?

My 1935 has a full set of Kay Brunner Wheels on it, and they are in flawless shape, so, what are they worth? 10 x 36 wheels... I will get a picture of all my new toys tomorrow, but the question will have to fly solo for now!! Thanks, Bryce

The standard famous answer is whatever someone will pay for them.

On a side note you have been on one heck of a buying spree. Do you have storage room for all your toys?

There were something like 11,012 B John Deere tractors built in 1935
Is some one trying to tell you that you have a rare tractor?
Kay Brunner wheels were an accessory same as French-Hecth, yust not as many.
There is always people trying to convince unspecting people that they have one of a kind,or is rare because of an unimportant significant.

I bought the tractor as a package deal, and I wanted this one for my own collection, I was just wondering if there was any hidden value to it or not because of the wheels! Bryce

Bryce - I have sold a couple of sets of Kay Brunners in the past and got WELL over $2K for them. Having said that, the market has gotten a little softer since then, so the price may reflect as such. With out seeing them, I would say they COULD be worth as much as $2500.00 to $3000.00, but again, with the softer market, that is just a guess. I would keep them on if you like to show. They are quite the conversation piece. Kay Brunner, like French and Hecht were a Company that sold aftermarket wheels to Tractor Dealers. Nice find. Post some pictures when you can. Bob
