Trying to find parts for a 2 row narrow crop head for a 3950 forage harvester, and there is NOTHING in the parts listings from JD. Just the base unit. Where can I find parts for the gathering unit???

Go to JD parts. You need to look under equipment type not model. Put in ROW CROP . That will bring up the list.

The actual row crop head parts catalog number is: 3136

Found one place, Kooima.com,will have to look around wed site,they list stuff for the heads

Tried 'row crop' and got a 'not found'. I'll try that catalog....

Call the dealer. They have the heads listed in their parts online... somewhere. I forget what it is why you can't find it online yourself. I've had the same problem... but rest assured, the parts are available.
I took a quick look and I can't find it right now either but I know I have gotten parts in the past.
Usually tho... I just watch the auctions and buy up any old heads I see and cannibalize them for parts. Lots cheaper that way.
